Fire Sprinkler Inspector

SimplexGrinnell is a recognized leader in the sales and service of state of the art monitor and control systems for fire alarm, security, sound, nurse call, portable fire extinguishers, suppression and sprinkler systems. Our continued growth has produced a need for a Fire Sprinkler System Inspector in our Las Vegas, NV location.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The qualified candidate will perform inspection and testing of wet, dry, pre-action, deluge, fire pump and hydrants in accordance with NFPA 25 and the state of Nevada. Primary function of this position is to provide reliable, high quality customer support through on-site inspection services.  Candidate must possess excellent written/verbal skills communication and outstanding customer service.  Professional appearance and attitude are a must. 

 

Minimum Qualifications:

? High school diploma or equivalent.

? Experience as a Fire Sprinkler Inspector or Sprinkler Fitter with functional knowledge of Wet and Dry systems.
Valid driver?s license with good driving record.
Ability to walk, stand or climb stairs and ladders for an 8-hour work day.
Ability to lift a minimum of 40 lbs. Without assistance.
Nevada G card or able to obtain in one month.

 

Additional Qualifications:
NICET Level II in Inspections of Water-Based Systems is preferred.  If no NICET candidate will be required to obtain NICET level 1 in Inspections of Water-Based Systems within 12 months of employment and NICET level II after two years.
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast paced environment as part of a team.
Good verbal and writtten communication skills.
