Forklift Mechanic (Road Mechanic)

Summary/Responsibilities of this position:

The position reports to the Service Manager in the Parkway Systems Department at the San Antonio Retail Support Center; the incumbent will be working over the road in the San Antonio area.This position is responsible for the diagnose and repair of gas, LPG, diesel and electric forklifts. Additional responsibilities include traveling to job sites and dealing with customers while filling out work orders and parts paper

 

Requirements:Must possess own master mechanic tool set.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Excellent customer service skills.Minimum 3 - 5 years forklift mechanic experience (preferred).Ability to lift up to 70 lb. for a distance of 15 feet.Excellent diagnostics skills.Retail road mechanic experience (preferred).Must be at least 18 years old and able to pass a company sponsored pre placement drug screen and criminal background check..
