Gage Crib Technician

Advanced Technology Services (ATS), an innovative provider of total calibration services, is continually searching for qualified Technicians to join our growing team. ATS is an A2LA ISO17025 accredited laboratory that is committed to the highest level of quality. We have an immediate need for a Gage Crib Technician in Aurora, IL.


Job duties include the following:
Works with customers to coordinate all gage calibrations and repairs including tracking bi-weekly shipments and expediting/tracking hot jobs.
Performs minor gage repairs.
Maintains accurate and detailed records of plant gage inventory according to established methodology.
Responds to customer service requests.
Setup and issue gages from Gage Crib: i.e. set dial bore gage to master ring. Pickup / deliver gages to machine operators.
Operate gage tracking software to enter / view certification records.
Respond to work order tickets to repair gages on shop floor.
Audit gage records periodically and make corrections as needed to insure gage record accuracy.
Participate in audits of the Gage Crib for safety, good housekeeping, lost gages, issued gages, correct storage location, and condition of gages.

Qualifications Include, but are not limited to the following:
High School Diploma or GED and a minimum of 2 years of related experience and/or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience working in an industrial manufacturing setting a plus.
Team oriented attitude requried.
Strong focus on customer satisfaction.
