General Maintenance

The general maintenance assistant function relates to the organization's conduct on services for its own efficiency or convenience such as standard building services, office services, security, or personnel transportation.




Responsible for general maintenance of the facilites, to include but not limited to: maintaining all high traffic areas, sweeping, mopping and cleaning restrooms during business hour. 

Responsible for responding to all janitorial emergencies as they arise as well as reporting needed repairs appropriately to Facilities immediately.

3-4 years of experience in general maintenance
Work under close supervision
Knows fundamental concepts, practices and procedures as related to general maintenance: plumbing, dry wall, air conditioning, general maintenance/construction, painting, etc.
