General Maintenance Technician #DAMT

ProLogis is currently seeking an individual, experienced in general property maintenance, to maintain our Dallas area properties.  This individual should possess knowledge and skills in property maintenance with extensive emphasis on customer service. The Dallas office is located at 2310 LBJ Freeway.  Duties and responsibilities include the following:

 



Property Maintenance 

?Coordinate all aspects of property maintenance, including the development of effective relationships with ProLogis customers

?General property maintenance

?Oversight of capital improvements and development and adherence to a preventative maintenance schedule. 

 

Specific responsibilities include the following:

 

?Perform scheduled property maintenance including (but not limited to) roof, structure, sidewalks, paving, landscaping as indicated in the preventative maintenance schedule.

?Aid the property manager in the evaluation of all service contract requirements and the oversight of property maintenance contracts

?Coordinate repairs, maintenance and site inspections

?Coordinate capital repairs and maintenance

?Provide feedback for the annual budget

?Perform responsive maintenance as requested by customer and property manager

?Other duties as assigned

 Customer Service

There is considerable emphasis on this very important job function.  Specific responsibilities include the following:

 

? Develop and maintain positive relationships with all of your customers.

? Participate in the annual ProLogis Customer Satisfaction Survey.

? Commitment to The ProLogis Way ? a guide to effective customer service. 



Qualifications:  HS or GED and three to five years commercial real estate maintenance or related experience preferred.  This position also requires a valid drivers license and a clean driving record. This is an on-call, 24/7 position.
