Sears technicians diagnose and repair household air conditioning and heating and refrigeration appliances while providing superior service at customer's homes.

Sears technicians are the best equipped in the industry---you will be provided a Sears van, laptop computer, and all the tools needed to do the job! In fact, Sears technicians travel directly to their first call from home each morning. We have a computer-generated routing system that enables us to maximize customer satisfaction.

Qualifications
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Diagnoses the problem and gives the customer an estimate of the cost of the repair

Uses appropriate tools and equipment in completing repairs
??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? Courteously and accurately answers customers questions regarding repair and charge procedures
??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? Arranges for follow-up calls, when necessary to complete service. Notates necessary parts
??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? Completes the route sheet and service orders, accurately entering such items as mileage, fuel used, the time spent on route, logging transit time to each call, the time on each call, the find of transaction (credit, cash, check), parts used including in-warranty and MA parts and service performed

Completes service orders summarizing each repair situation and resolution

Telephones customers to reschedule appointments when customer cannot be visited as scheduled
??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? Telephones the Service Center for service cancellations, add-ons and revisions to route
??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? Schedules routes and calls customers to determine if they will be home
??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? Reports repair trends to the Product Failure Center so the manufacturer and Training Center can be notified
??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? Completes quota sheets and Product Failure Reports

Handles charges, checks and cash in accordance with Company policy

Uses appropriate security and safety procedures to protect Company and customer assets

EXPERIENCE:
