HVAC Mechanic/Controls Technician

Specific job responsibilities / qualifications required including certifications:

The full time position requires technical HVAC skills and knowledge including HVAC controls experience. Georgia HVAC license and/or an AAS degree a plus.

 

Desired qualifications include: Thorough knowledge of HVAC systems (VAV, Constant Volume, Central Plant, hot and chilled water systems, etc)Thorough knowledge of HVAC controls (4-20 ma, 0-10vdc, relays, etc..)
Desire to learn and expand controls knowledge base and skills.Excellent mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.Strong Computer literacy. DDC control system programming.Effective at communicating with customers, sub-contractors, and team members.Good English language oral and written communication skills.

? Valid drivers license with clean driving record.

 

Minimum Training/Education Required:

Any of the listed options or equivalent - AAS-Mechanical Engineering Technology, AAS-Electronics Engineering Technology, AAS-Electrical Engineering Technology, Heating Ventilation & Air Conditioning training or diploma.

 

Experience:

HVAC Controls, Process Controls, Installation and Startup, Maintenance and Acceptance Testing. Candidate should have experience with Microsoft Office.
