HVAC / PLUMBING INSTALLER / HEATING AND COOLING SERVICE TECHNICIAN

Experienced HVAC / Plumbing installer /service tech positions wanted for small and upcoming heating, cooling, plumbing, and duct cleaning company. This is a very small company that has a lot of potential to grow.  We can not offer the same benefits and retirement that a lot of the larger companies can but we can offer a small company atmosphere in which you will be primarily working with the owner on a day to day basis. No terrible office politics. Work can be seasonal and may require some weekends and long hours.

 

We are looking for long term employees, self motivated, clean cut, well groomed, able to interact and speak with customers on a day to day basis, and be able to handle customers under most situations (not everyone is happy). Employees are expected to collect money when job is complete unless other wise specified. There may be some growing pains but the opportunities to grow and excell within the company will far outweight those. 

 

Job Duties include:

 

ability to install some light commercial and residential forced air heating and cooling equipment.

 

able to work independently many times on a job site which may require heavy lifting.

 

Installing the occasional water heater, indoor air quality equipment ect.

 

Being able to work with various hand tools, drills, saws, sheet metal fabrication equipment

 

Will be required to work in crawl spaces and attics occasionally.

 

Should know heating and cooling essientials with brazing/ sodering experiance. Will be required to install elecrical wiring, gas piping, water lines, flues and the occasional duct cleaning.

 

May have to perform general a/c and heating tune-ups along with some no cool and no heat calls.

 

On-call will be required from time to time.

 

Requirements:

 

Clean driving record

Punctuality is a must

Basic hand tools, meter, freon gauges, ect.

Honest, responsible, hard working, and positive attitude with the ability to learn and want to learn.
