HVAC Technicians / Plumbers / Plumbing Supervisor

Eisert Plumbing and Heating, Inc. is currently seeking experienced HVAC Technicians / Plumbers / Plumbing Supervisor. Eisert Plumbing and Heating, Inc. has been in business for over 30 years and continues to experience substantial growth each year. We are a Bryant Dealer and we also service a wide variety of other HVAC systems. The proper candidates would be anyone experienced with the Plumbing and/or HVAC field that is proficient enough to troubleshoot problems, identify and diagnose root cause and repair, and have good customer service skills and a rather low call back rate. Electrical knowledge is also required. Due to our growth, we have several positions available and will be filling these positions immediately. Compensation based on experience.

Job Scope Descriptions and Requirements:

HVAC Technician:

Minimum 5 years experience in HVAC troubleshooting and repair

Troubleshoot to identify root cause and proficient repair of a wide variety of complex HVAC equipment such as gas or oil furnaces, boilers, air conditions, heat pumps, and rooftop units.

HVAC system installations, system change outs, new installations.

Experienced and comfortable servicing heating equipment with all fuels (LP, natural gas, fuel oil)

Proficiency in building and installing ductwork.

Basic knowledge of mechanical code requirements.

Experience with all makes and models

EPA Universal Refrigerant License a must

NATE certification desired. Must be willing to obtain certification if not already certified

Dominion Gas Line Certification helpful

 

Plumber:

Minimum 10 years experience in repair and new installation of plumbing

Troubleshoot and repair of both residential and commercial plumbing, including supply and wastewater applications.

Remodel, service and installation of new plumbing in both residential and commercial applications.

Knowledge and compliance of Plumbing Codes

Diagnoses problems with plumbing fixtures and performs required repairs.

Repairs and maintains plumbing systems by replacing washers, mending burst pipes; opening clogged sewers and drains, running eel, etc.

Install underground storm, sanitary and water piping systems

Dominion Gas Line Certification helpful

 

 

 

 

Plumbing Supervisor:

Minimum 10 years experience in repair and new installation of plumbing with minimum 2 years in supervisory role.

Knowledge of supervisory principles, practices and techniques

Supervises all personnel in the plumbing shop; duties include planning scheduling, organizing and directing work, training personnel and recommending applicants for employment or for discipline, evaluation or termination.

Provides plumbing information by answering questions and requests

Orders and purchases equipment and supplies

Insures proper equipment and supplies are available in the stockroom to complete various jobs.

Plans and develops work schedules, equipment usage, etc. for plumbing job

Assists in and makes final decision on implementing engineering and design work related to plumbing.

Monitors jobs to insure quality and proper compliance with job standards

Estimates jobs (material, labor, layout, etc.)

Knowledge of applicable plumbing codes

Coordinates activities with other trades areas, project manager or outside contractors.

Recommends improvements, changes or new techniques and procedures.

Teaches and enforces safety regulations

Coordinates repairs of fleet vehicles used in plumbing shop

Performs duties of a plumber when necessary

 

 

 

 

 

Skills/Qualifications:

Must have a valid drivers license and clean driving record.

Able to work occasional overtime and on-call as needed on rotation basis

Good written and verbal communication skills and customer service skills

Solves problems by gathering information, analyzing information and evaluating options.

Has excellent attendance, punctual, dependable

Dedicated to the completion of the work at hand in a timely manner with quality work.

Ability to work as team member or alone

Organizational and planning skills and detail oriented
