We are seeking a Handyperson/Construction Coordinator to perform general maintenance work as needed at store locations and the corporate office.

Duties will include, but are not limited to:

Painting, basic carpentry, minor electrical, minor plumbing, assembly of fixtures to include shelving & product displays and special event preparation and set up.

 

Required Experience:

3-5 years experience with basic home or commercial construction for a contractor or equivalent.  Familiar with building codes and common construction, drywall, paint and electrical methods, certified forklift driver, ability to calculate figures and apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry as related to the construction industry, heavy lifting, climbing and standing for long periods of time, clear motor vehicle record, occasional supervision of 1-5 set up crew members, heavy travel with frequent overnight stays, project management to include remodels and new store setups, organization, time management, good communication skills, material organization and purchasing, familiar with safety and security procedures, able to commit to long hours of work when necessary to reach a goal, experienced with Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word.
