Hydraulic Technician - Omaha

POSITION SUMMARY

Position is responsible for providing routine and non-routine maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, repair and assembly under moderate supervision.

 OBJECTIVES

? Perform routine maintenance repair and assembly without supervision and within repair time standards

? Continue technical development through on-going vendor education and on-the-job experience

? Perform tasks of a higher complexity and difficulty with only moderate supervision or direction.

 PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

The employee would be expected to possess or quickly acquire the following skills:

? Displaying intimate repair knowledge of the Service Center?s primary authorized products

? Developing a broad knowledge of non-authorized products

? Possessing fluid power certification

? Remaining current on all vendor repair training schools

? Displaying broad knowledge of test standards of both authorized and non-authorized products

? Possessing the ability to do basic, unassisted field troubleshooting

? Meeting established repair time standards on a consistent basis

? May have to drive a company vehicle as needed

? Other duties as assigned by location

 QUALIFICATIONS

2-5 years of mechanical/hydraulic experience.  This position is considered an intermediate level and an incumbent is expected to perform routine repairs without direct supervision or assistance.  Must have a valid driver?s license.
