Salary - $50 - 60K

 

 

We are seeking an individual who has experience building an inventory control system from the ground up. The qualified candidate must have experience recommending and implementing inventory control tools alone with creating and implementing processes. The Inventory Control Manager will be in charge of managing all facets of inventory control including purchasing materials, processing requests and maintaining inventory levels. This qualified candidate must rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals and should have excellent negotiation and leadership skills.

 

Additional duties will include but not limited to the following:

 

 

Purchasing / Ordering ProcessingEvaluates vendor quotes and services to determine the best vendors. Purchases and negotiates materials, equipment, and supplies from vendors. Manages relationships with all vendors.Creates and maintains reporting regarding purchasing activities.Manages inventory related requests from project managers with approval from the PMO.Locates stock and manages the delivery of items to their destination upon request. Communicates regarding issues with inventory levels and finds workarounds to fulfill requests.Creates and maintains reporting regarding inventory requests

 

Inventory Control / InfrastructureRecords and maintains control of all inventory items purchased and produced. Identifies reorder needs. Ensures that incoming deliveries are accurate. Communicates information regarding defective materials and works with Engineering to help resolve issues. Creates and maintains reporting regarding inventory levels.Ensures compliance with established internal control procedures. Creates process for inventory management and trains staff regarding processes.Implements and maintains inventory management and tracking system. Manages customer RMA process.  

 Requirements / Skills4+ years direct inventory experienceExperience negotiating with third party hardware vendorsExperience with creating and implementing processes Strong oral and written communications skillsExperience with implementing a system from the ground upComplete attention to detailB.S. or B.A. degree desiredProficient PC skillsMicrosoft Office productsInventory management softwareExperience with hardware components a plus
