 The first mechanic position consists of performing major and minor repairs on a wide range of construction equipment, and our fleet of trucks and delivery vehicles. The candidate must be able to troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, ignition, pneumatic systems, diesel and gas engines as well as drive trains, to ensure the equipment operates safely and properly.

 

 The second position consists of repairing small construction and homeowner equipment including branch chippers, stump grinders, electric hammers and string trimmers etc. The candidate must be able to troubleshoot and repair 2 and 4 cycle engines as well as electrical motors.

 

 Both candidates must have the ability to communicate in a professional and technical manner both orally and in writing with employees and customers, be able to read and write legibly in English. Candidates must be neat, organized and self motivated. The work requires sitting, stooping, bending, and standing for long periods of time. Must be able to frequently lift 25 lbs. and occasionally 50 lbs. and have the ability to frequently climb in and out of equipment. Candidates must have a current driver?s license and maintain a good driving record.

 

The ideal mechanical candidates will have a minimum of 2 to 5 years verifiable experience as a mechanic, diagnosing and repairing all makes and models of equipment.  Candidates must have their own tools. Successful candidates will be required to pass a pre-employment drug test.
