Laser Field Service Representative

    FIELD SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE – LASER CUTTING SYSTEMS


Our client, a global machine tool manufacturer, is experiencing explosive growth and is seeking motivated self starters looking for a challenging and rewarding career.
A Field Service Representative is responsible for providing customer service and problem resolution at new and existing client sites. You will provide field service assistance ensuring customer satisfaction and maximum machine performance and uptime by maintaining equipment functionality, troubleshooting, upgrading and repairing lasers including software and controls. The successful candidate will become a technical expert with highly developed customer satisfaction and communication skills. Overnight travel required with the flexibility to be available for last minute escalations


Job requirements:


Two-year degree (associate’s preferred) in electronics, laser technology computer science, automation technology or equivalent work experience. Advanced electronic training form the military is a definite plus 

A minimum of three years’ industrial machine repair experience or equivalent combination of education and experience (including military).  Electronic background with a good mechanical aptitude and the ability to use tools

A valid driver’s license is required

Flexible and willing to travel as required
