Lubrication Repairman/Mechanic

Job Description

Major Responsibilities:

-Work productively within a high performance teaming environment while demonstrating strong communication skills
-Safely operate and perform oil changes on pick-ups, vans, heavy equipment and haul trucks
-Operation of all mine fuel docks and satellite fuel stations
-Operation of lubrication service trucks for fueling and lubricating mobile equipment
-Use high pressure hoses to clean the under carriage and bodies of small equipment
-Maintain cleanliness around shop and fuel docks
-Understand and follow environmental policies and procedures related to the Lube Shop's core work
-Maintain accurate service records utilizing computer and organizational skills
-Effectively perform job assignments with minimal supervision and/or assistance
-Safely climb on and off of ladders for the purpose of checking components and servicing heavy equipment
-Work a 12-hour shift schedule in varying weather conditions
-Overtime is required determined by business needs
-Additional duties and job responsibilities may be assigned according to business needs

Minimum Requirements:

-Must be a self-motivated individual capable of working with minimal assistance and/or supervision
-Lubrication characteristic knowledge
-Employees managed under the Guiding Principles must have a satisfactory work record
-Experience performing oil changes on pick-ups, and light equipment

Preferred Qualifications:

-Experience operating motor graders, rubber tires, haul and boom trucks
-Computer literacy (Microsoft Professional - Word, Outlook, Excel)
-Experience performing oil changes on heavy equipment and haul trucks.
-Ability to safely operate mine fuel islands
-L.O.T.O.T.O. training.
