MAINTENANCE MECHANIC - ELECTRICAL/MECHANICAL STRENGTHS w/ FILLING EQUIPMENT

We are currently looking for skilled and enthusiastic individuals to fill the position of: Maintenance Mechanic at our Hampton, GA location.



 

Value Add and giving you the edge for this position are:Experience with the following equipment: Allen Bradley and Siemens processors. Experience with Hartness case packers, Laub-Hunt fillers, ABC case erectors, Comag sleevers, bottle and case coders a plusPLC experience, including programming and troubleshooting is a plus and is desired, not requiredThe ability to creatively resolve breakdowns and keep production flowing Experience utilizing and implementing PM practices is a plus.Experience with PVC Piping, process equipment, conveyors, pumps and motors is helpful and desired.Maintenance Mechanic?s Responsibilities include:Run, troubleshoot, maintain and perform major repairs on all high speed packaging machineryStrong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills a must Change over and set up all packaging equipment and machinery Perform adjustments to ensure quality standards are met for fill weight, cap torque, label placement, etc. Assist team leader in performing any duties to optimize line output while maintaining product qualityResponsible for GMP and safe operation of the production lineTo be eligible for the position you must have:Initiative and desire to see the big picture and a 'get it done' attitudeExperience as a Mechanic with packaging and/or filling experience, Strong verbal communication skills Excellent mechanical skills Effective decision making skills
