MEGASYS OPERATOR

Air Products and Chemicals, Inc., a Fortune 500 company and major supplier of industrial gas products worldwide, has several immediate openings in the Phoenix, AZ area for Gas and Chemical Technicians in its Phoenix Megasys group.

These are entry level positions with no relocation benefits. We are seeking qualified candidates local to the Phoenix metropolitan area.

Our electronics group provides specialty gases, chemicals and related services to semiconductor manufacturers worldwide. Job responsibilities will include handling specialty gas containers, maintaining our gas cabinets and bulk gas delivery systems as well as associated analytical equipment. Chemical responsibilities include installation, start-up and troubleshooting of chemical delivery equipment, and understanding the properties and reaction patterns of chemicals used on site. Ability to work safely is a core requirement of the job.

Candidates will possess the following experience:

Strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills and hands-on electrical technician and/or electronics experience. Experience with chemicals, hazardous gases or gas analysis a plus. Computer skills in basic MS Office (Word, Excel) required.

Recent military veterans, technical school grads with a maintenance background or Associates degree in a technical field are encouraged to apply. Must be a strong team player and willing to work rotating 12-hour shift, on-call schedule, holidays, weekends or off shifts.
