MEGASYS TECHNICIAN
(Gas/Chemical Technician)

Air Products and Chemicals, Inc., a Fortune 500 company, has immediate openings for experienced Megasys Technicians (Gas/Chemical Technicians) at its White Oak (Richmond area), Virginia facility. This position supports Quimonda's North American integrated circuit manufacturing operations.

We are seeking a driven, dedicated, results-oriented person to work as a Megasys? Gas Delivery Technician. The position will provide a challenging growth opportunity to talented individuals with strong mechanical or electrical aptitude. Additionally, the position will provide exposure to leading edge technology development and manufacturing processing. Successful candidate will be responsible for the safe operation of all specialty gas, chemical, slurry and bulk gas systems.

Specific job tasks include: troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of specialty gas distribution equipment; ultra high purity gas analysis; inventory management and control of production gases; cylinder changes; safety; and working to an approved ISO 9000 quality management system.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Applicants should have a high school diploma, with a two-year college degree, technical school training or military experience preferred. Prior work experience in a mechanical, electrical, or electronics area is desired. Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with excellent customer relationship skills are a must. Work authorization for the US is required.
