MRO Industrial Engineering Technician
Description: ARINC Oklahoma City is looking for a candidate to perform electrical, mechanical, rigging, and other work as required to properly shut down, disconnect, move, reconnect, and restart CNC and other industrial equipment types.
Assess condition of CNC and other industrial equipment through visual and hands on inspection.
Provide technical inputs regarding industrial process equipment installation, movement, refurbishment, routine and emergency maintenance and associated facility connections as part of a team redesigning the customer machining operations.
Provide inputs for the development of cost estimates and planning schedules for the relocation and installation of industrial process equipment.
Prepare, read, and interpret blueprints and technical specifications to perform required work.
Qualifications:
Experience -
10 or more years experience with industrial equipment use, installation, movement, maintenance, and support.
Experience should be as a field service representative for CNC type industrial equipment, or as facility maintenance, staff in an aircraft or jet engine related precision manufacturing plant.
Knowledge of OHSA and NEC regulations as they apply to working in an industrial facility.
Desired Experience -
Working knowledge of Oklahoma City Air Logistics Center (OC-ALC) industrial facilities and equipment or experience with industrial equipment in a similar maintenance, repair, and overhaul facility or other heavy industrial operation.
Knowledge of federal, state, and local government regulations as they apply to working in Government industrial facilities such as those located on Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma.
Knowledge of Department of Defense, United States Air Force, and Tinker AFB policies and regulations as they apply to base industrial facilities and equipment.
Desired Additional Skills -
Forklift and scissor lift operation experience
AutoCAD or other design software capability
Education -
HS diploma
2 year technical trade school preferred.
