Maintenance Clerk

Job Description

Major Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will assist the Maintenance Services Department by providing real-time information and performing various clerical duties including data entry; preparing correspondence, reports and spreadsheets; filing, copying and interacting effectively with a variety of people and teams. Responsibilities will also include tracking annual goals, inputting time/attendance and documenting/distributing operator daily inspection lists. The successful candidate will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills; proper telephone and radio etiquette; the ability to work effectively in a team-based environment, handle multiple tasks simultaneously and keep the strictest confidentiality. Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

- 6 months continuous secretarial and/or clerical experience
- Working knowledge of MIMS/Ellipse
- Proficient using Microsoft based software (Word, Access, Excel, and Power Point
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent safety and attendance record
- Internal candidates must be eligible for transfer per the Guiding Principles
