*Maintenance Coordinator

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

This position is responsible to oversee the preparation, planning, scheduling, coordination and execution of the mechanical maintenance activities in the most reliable and effective manner possible.

* Will be coordinating the activities of, and ensure the availability of materials, equipment and tools for maintenance personnel involved in performing routine, preventative and emergency equipment and facilities maintenance.
* The Maintenance Coordinator is responsible to ensure that all work is completed in a correct, efficient and timely manner and in compliance with cGMP requirements by utilizing the CMMS.
* Establish the department's daily/weekly work schedule based on four sources - specific requests, the master preventative maintenance program (CMMS), inspection based, and predictive based work consideration production requirements of the plant.
* Establish and maintain an accurate spare parts inventory.
* Evaluate training requirements and maintain all training documentation with respect to the Maintenance Department.
* Maintains the company Work Order Request System.
* Establish and maintains maintenance-related data in the department CMMS.
* Maintains accurate PM and training records/files.
* Monitors the current routine contract processes and schedules provided by outside contractors.
* Supply technical support for Maintenance Supervisors.
* Be the liaison with all other departments concerning PM scheduling.
* Assist in the planning and scheduling of all major turnarounds of all equipment.
* Other duties as directed.

REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS

* AS Degree in Engineering (or equivalent) is required.
* Four plus years experience in a facilities or maintenance engineering position in a manufacturing environment with at least 3 years in a GMP environment, preferably pharmaceutical manufacturing.
