Maintenance Foreman

We are currently seeking a Maintenance Foreman for our site location in Coatesville, PA. 

 

Position Purpose and Summary

 

The Maintenance Foreman directs and supervises the MultiServ maintenance and subcontractor workforce in the maintenance activities and repairs for equipment used in the mill services work at the site location.

 

Key Responsibilities and Duties

 Organizes and directs the repairs and preventive maintenance activities on mobile, heavy industrial vehicles and stationary equipment.Recruits, selects, directs, trains and coaches maintenance mechanics.Ensures that maintenance work is completed in a safe, efficient and high quality manner.Ensures that the maintenance shop is organized and well supplied with parts.Champions the planned and preventive maintenance program for the Coatesville site.Works with site leadership to develop and implement the maintenance repair plan and schedule.Helps analyze failure tracking reports to determine when to schedule repairs.Helps to determine the root cause of equipment breakdowns and helps conduct root cause analyses

 Qualifications

 

High School diploma and some post high school training required

 

Five (5) or more years of maintenance experience in a heavy industrial environment that could include heavy mobile equipment and material handling (conveying) equipment.

 

The successful candidate will possess strong maintenance shop planning, organization and auditing experience and skills.

Maintenance supervisory experience desired; experience with preventive maintenance programs is helpful. Strong commitment to safety and maintenance mechanic performance is a must.
