Maintenance Helper

Job Description

Major Responsibilities:

-Safely performs repairs and preventive maintenance on large mining equipment, including conveyor systems, ore size reduction equipment, and pumping systems
-Performs quality preventative maintenance and repair work following established procedures
-Provide job information on work orders
-Work with existing resources to continuously improve processes and efficiencies

Minimum Requirements:

-Able to work in a team environment
-Knowledge of basic mechanical systems
-Working knowledge of maintenance manuals and print reading
-Demonstrates safe behaviors and safe work practices
-Have a working knowledge on use of shop equipment and hand tools

Preferred Qualifications:

-High school diploma or GED
-Heavy equipment operations
-One year of mechanical experience
-Experience in overhead lifting devices and mobile forklifts
-Experienced in metal fabrication and welding
