My client is a global leader with 100M in sales at this films facility. Currently they have an immediate opening for a Maintenance Mechanic. This is a first shift position with off-hours and overtime as needed. Closely located candidates will be highly considered.
The successful candidate will have a solid work record with 5 or more years of Maintenance Mechanic experience and possess excellent mechanical troubleshooting skills. Your main responsibility will be to provide plant-wide maintenance support of equipment in a specialty films facility. Candidates must be experienced in fabricating parts, making repairs/modifications with the use of mills, lathes, surface grinders, band saws, arc welding, etc. Specific Preventative Maintenance duties include: Mechanical drives, Hydraulics/Pneumatics, Plumbing, and HVAC. Therefore, knowledge in these areas will be paramount.
