Maintenance Mechanic - Injection Molding

KellyDirect, a specialized business unit of Fortune 500 company, Kelly Services, has been contracted to source direct hire candidates for an Injection Molding Maintenance Mechanic position at an established manufacturing company in south Kansas City, Missouri.

As an Injection Molding Maintenance Mechanic, you will perform general production machine maintenance duties including, but not limited to:
Installing, setting-up and maintaining molding machinery.
Monitoring, testing and evaluating equipment for potential problems.
Dismantling and reassembling equipment to remove and replace defective parts.
Adjusting parts and control instruments.
Setting and operating various shop equipment such as a drill press, grinder, lathe, etc.
Being able to perform additional maintenance duties as needed.

To be considered for this position, you must:
Have a one (1) year certificate from college or technical school or one (1) year high speed production maintenance experience and/or training in Injection Molding.
Have electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic experience.
Be able to pass a skills assessment.
Have adequate language, math and problem solving skills sufficient to perform given tasks.
Be able to frequently lift/move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift/move up to 100 pounds.
Be reliable and on-time.
Be flexible to work 2nd or 3rd shifts, weekends and some overtime as needed (could be 4 to 8 hours per week.)
