Maintenance Opportunities - West County Center

As a member of our Maintenance team, you will maintain the physical environment of the store, working a variety of shifts to provide daily maintenance services to maintain a pleasant shopping environment for our customers.  We currently have opportunities for full-time and part-time people who can work a flexible schedule.

 

Primary Responsibilities:
? Conduct daily store inspection and walk through
? Handle floor, wall and ceiling repairs, painting/refinishing, and minor housekeeping tasks
? Handle maintenance and/or repairs to HVAC system, kitchen equipment, plumbing system, electrical fixtures, boiler equipment, and tailor shop steam equipment
? Replace ballasts, transformers, light fixtures, and bulbs
? Building and light assembly work, e.g., shelves and hang rods
? Special projects:  build office cubicles, take out empty registers and repair registers

 

Qualifications:
? Extensive experience in more than one of the above areas, e.g., dry walling, plumbing, basic electricity, and carpentry
? Experienced with operating maintenance equipment, e.g., hand and power tools, tape measure, test equipment and drill bits
? Ability to interface and communicate clearly with customers and/or co-workers
? Must possess ability to document, read and utilize math skills
? Must be able to work scheduled shifts based on department needs, consistently arrive for work on time, and work graveyard shift as needed
? Customer service oriented
? Independent and reliable worker
