Maintenance Tech/PLC/Electrical & Mechanical Mechanics

We are currently seeking motivated, skilled and experienced Industrial Maintenance Techs with strong electrical and PLC background for high volume manufacturing packaging plants. THESE ARE CAREER POSITIONS!

DESCRIPTION & REQUIREMENTS:

Ideal candidates for the Mechanic positions are required to have experience with repair, installation, and replacement of mechanical and electrical devices including hydraulics, pneumatics and have working knowledge of some or all of the following: filling, packaging, capping, labeling, bar-coding, conveying, palletizing and other related equipment. Skills working with metals, power transmissions, bearings, gears, pumps, motors, starters, PLC?s, solenoids, lighting, electrical service, sensors, construction techniques etc. is also helpful. It will be necessary to have the expertise to read and analyze equipment/electrical diagrams and documentation, to utilize computerized work order maintenance systems, PC?s, machine shop equipment, and calibration or welding equipment.

Troubleshoot and repair production and plant equipment

Have the Ability to operate and work with production technicians to solve problems on all production equipment

Understand total process layouts and be able to maximize efficiency through optimal interface

Read blueprints and technical manuals (mechanical and electrical)

Program and record assigned preventive maintenance tasks

Program Variable Frequency Drives

Weld (structural and sanitary)

Size Gear boxes and Motors

Use machinist measuring tools

Possess an ability to conduct basic mathematical calculations

Use electrical test instrumentation

Have the ability to fabricate parts

Candidates must also have the ability to read write, speak English; lift and move items weighing from 1-50 lbs. and work in all areas of a multi-level mfg. environment in all temperature extremes and size spaces. Applicants must be able to work any shift and extended hours as required and should have a stable work history with a good attendance record.
