Maintenance Technician-Manufacturing-

Maintenance Technicians needed in the Selma area. Long-term positions six months or indefinite.

Corporation has been serving the needs of its customers for more than 90 years is seeking maintenance technicians with 2-4 years of experience on a production floor working hands on with equipment. Manufacturing environment,very fast pace.

Essential Functions: Understand the various codes and laws applicable to standard mechanical maintenance and repair work (OSHA, ANSI, etc.) Fabricate and/or machine replacement parts and safety guards as needed. Assist/participate in planning electrical wiring layouts. Calculate wattage and balance electrical loads on electrical circuits in the facility. Install, maintain, and/or repair heating and air conditioning equipment. Order spare and replacement parts that are needed. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics. Establish preventive maintenance schedules for new equipment. Plan work sequences to minimize downtime. Qualifications: High School diploma is required.

Knowledge of PLC programming and troubleshooting. Able to interpret blueprints and engineering data sheets. Strong mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic troubleshooting skills. Function as a team member. Must be able to work effectively with minimal supervision. Hours: 2nd shift 3P 11:30PM (train on 1st shift for a few weeks 7A 3:30PM)
