Maintenance Technician / Production Leader

 

 

Primary job responsibilities include ensuring operation of machinery and electrical/mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, Hydraulic Presses, Kuka Robots and production machines; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions.  Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems, fabricates repair parts by using machine shop instrumentation and equipment.

 

Maintains equipment, parts and supply inventories; anticipating needed equipment, parts, and supplies; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt.  Also, maintains safe and clean working environment and enhance equipment performance by developing and installing modifications and making adjustments.

 

Must have at least 5 years experience in Electrical and Mechanical maintenance areas in a manufacturing environment and at least 5 years experience with Allen Bradley RS Logic.

Must be able to operate tool room equipment i.e.: Lathes, Grinders, Welding (Tig and Mig) and Bridgeport Drill Press.  Also, must possess fabricating experience, strong problem solving skills, strong computer skills with knowledge of Excel.
