Maintenance Technicians – Packaging Machinery
The Frain Group is the largest dealer of used packaging and processing equipment in North America - ten times larger than any competitor. We have over 6,500 machines in stock and ready to ship, and a database of over 30,000 pieces of used packaging and processing equipment. Conveniently located just 10 minutes from O?Hare Airport, we have immediate openings in our growing company!
We are currently seeking Maintenance Technicians with mechanical & electrical troubleshooting & basic machine shop skills. Successful candidates will have experience in setting up, troubleshooting & maintaining a variety of packaging equipment such as horizontal form/fill/seal equipment, horizontal & vertical cartoners, tri-seal formers and closers, check weighers, video jets, shrink & flow wrappers, shrink tunnels & pouching machines, electrical knowledge a plus.
Requirements include a minimum of 3 ? 5 years of diagnostic/troubleshooting and preventative maintenance experience. Must be skilled in using hand tools, small power tools, and bench tools. HS diploma/GED required; degree or coursework in engineering/mechanics a plus. Previous experience with packaging machinery required. Electrical and welding knowledge a plus.
