Manufacturing Maintenance Technician - All Levels

Advanced Technology Services (ATS) employees provide professional, comprehensive technical services to an impressive customer base, specializing in fields of industrial services and information technology.

ATS is currently searching for manufacturing maintenance technicians of all skill levels in the southeast Indianapolis area.  In this position you will be responsible for performing entry level to complex troubleshooting and repair techniques on manufacturing equipment; electrical/electronic or mechanical systems. You will responsible for analyzing, troubleshooting, build up, maintaining, and repairing of complex equipment.

Qualified candidate(s) will possess the following minimum requirements:


 

Associate Level:
Associates degree degree from a two-year college or technical school preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and/or apprenticeship


Level I:

Associates degree degree from a two-year college or technical school preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and/or apprenticeship

3 years experience troubleshooting and maintaining factory floor equipment with emphasis on electrical/electronic systems

Proficiency with basic mechanical/hydraulic and pneumatics concepts related to machine tools.


Level II:

Associates degree degree from a two-year college or technical school preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and/or apprenticeship

5 years experience troubleshooting and maintaining factory floor equipment with emphasis on electrical/electronic systems

Proficiency with basic mechanical/hydraulic and pneumatics concepts related to machine tools.

 

Senior Level:

Associates degree degree from a two-year college or technical school preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and/or apprenticeship

8 years experience troubleshooting and maintaining factory floor equipment with emphasis on electrical/electronic systems

Proficiency with basic mechanical/hydraulic and pneumatics concepts related to machine tools.

8+ years experience in vibration analysis or laser operations, machine alignments, and general machine tool maintenance

Ability to operate CNC controls in maintenance mode

Strong understanding of machine diagnostics

Ability to work successfully with computers and software

Ability to travel to other ATS sites and customers as needed

Skilled in project management

Heat treat experience a plus - induction, carburigers, temper operations and quench systems

Allen Bradley PLC experience with temperature controllers
