Master Maintenance Mechanic

Master Maintenance Mechanic needed at Houston, TX plant.  Maintains production and quality; ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment; locates sources of problems; removes defective parts; determines changes in dimensional requirements of parts; adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments; controls downtime; fabricates repair parts; maintains equipment, parts, and supplies inventories. Must be knowledgeable in associated electrical equipment, general mechanical equipment, repair of hand tools and forklifts a must. The ideal candidate will have excellent motivation, professional knowledge, technical management skills, thinking skills and work habits.

 

Qualifications:



Aware of basic safety issues. Follows safety procedures and maintains a safe work environment.



Trained in hands-on equipment maintenance.



Strong work ethic. Uses time productively to accomplish work goals.



Has a solid understanding of the job and its duties and responsibilities.
