Master Mechanic

Utilizing a variety of methods, these products provide accuracy, simplicity and speed in the early diagnosis and treatment of common medical conditions, such as gastrointestinal, viral, urinary and respiratory infections.

 

Our Master Mechanics perform all routine maintenance department activities and provides specific skills in one or more crafts at the Journeyman Level.

 

DUTIES:

1. Repair and improve manufacturing equipment, utilities, buildings, and grounds.

2. Follows all safe practices, environmental rules, and cGMP.

3. Requisition spare parts and supplies, however, the position does not include spending authorization.

4. Perform full range of maintenance activities up to the limits of skills and training.

5. May work non-standard shifts in order to complete work that would otherwise interfere with productivity in the affected department.

6. Schedule and coordinate repair and capital jobs with outside contractors.

7. Perform any other tasks assigned by the Maintenance Manager.

 

EDUCATION:

Minimum of High School Diploma. If required by the Facilities Manager, certification by an appropriate board will be necessary. For example, an air conditioning mechanic shall have at least type II IPA certification.

 

EXPERIENCE:

A minimum of 5 years experience in the primary skill area. Strong refrigeration and electrical skills a plus. Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Physical demands may be high at times including working outdoors in extreme weather and lifting heavy loads up to 75 lbs.
