Statement of Purpose
Assists with various responsibilities of the Purchasing/Material Management Department; receives, stores and issues materials, supplies and equipment; responsible for taking quarterly inventories and maintaining stock records. Researches various products and services; assigns purchase order numbers; sets up files; types; enters computer data concerning inventory and patient charges; assists with appointments, messages and special projects.

Prepares and maintains exchange carts daily; directs proper care and storage of all other supplies and equipment used for patient care or other hospital departments.
