Maintains and repairs company rental equipment to ensure efficient, safe, and effective operation for customers.? Performs preventive maintenance and general maintenance on small vehicles, tools, and equipment, on-site and off-site as necessary.


Repairs and maintains tools, engines and equipment requiring mechanical, hydraulic or pneumatic repair.?

Performs preventive maintenance services.?

Works with senior shop mechanics to troubleshoot more complex calls and repairs.?

May assist in rebuilding and replacing complex components.?

Assists in ordering parts and equipment necessary to effect repairs.?

Checks equipment for safety decals and safe operating features.?

Correctly utilizes scheduled maintenance forms and/or work order computer systems.?

Assists in maintaining an accurate schedule and record of maintenance.?

Keeps current on all applicable rental equipment features and applications.?

May assist in familiarizing and training customer on equipment and vehicles.?

Demonstrates orientation toward excellent customer service by conducting daily activities, communications, and interactions in a cooperative, positive, and professional manner.?

Implements, sustains and develops quality process improvements that focus on safety, financials, operations and customer service.

Requirements:?


Minimum one year of experience in repairing and maintaining equipment, tools, and vehicles.

Effective mechanical skills.?

Ability to diagnose and successfully repair deficient equipment or tools.
Education Requirements:? High school degree or equivalent.

Physical Requirements:? Lift up to 50 pounds, bend, stoop, squat, reach, crouch, and kneel.? May stand for long periods, work in unprotected weather elements, wear steel-toed shoes and other required protective equipment, enter, and exit vehicle appointed to drive.
