Mechanic II - Top Line Mechanic - Construction Equipment

Description:

The position consists of performing regular preventative maintenance and major repairs on a wide range construction equipment and delivery vehicle fleet to ensure the equipment operates safely and properly. The position also includes advanced troubleshooting on electrical, hydraulic, ignition, pneumatic systems, diesel and gas engines as well as drive trains. May occasionally perform field repairs and maintenance.

 

Requirements:

Must own personal set of tools and roll away toolbox and be willing to add to personal tool inventory. Mechanical knowledge of construction equipment and customer service experience is preferred. Must possess electric arc (stick), gas and brazing welding skills. Must be detail oriented, have good communication skills and the ability to multi-task. Be able to frequently lift 25 lbs, occasionally lift 50 lbs, and seldom lift 90 lbs. and have the ability to frequently climb in and out of equipment. Must have a current driver?s license and maintain a good driving record.
