Mechanic (Level II)/Mechanic (Level I)

CITY: Stockton STATE: California COUNTRY: USA Essential Functions (Responsibilities):
1. Responsible for trailer repairs including wheel, brakes and body.
2. Responsible for all mandated Federal Highway Administration annual inspections and B.I.T. inspections (US only).
3. Responsible for off site repair service as required by specific customer contracts.
4. All yard maintenance including trailer spotting, general yard and shop cleanup as required.
5. Perform all work in accordance with GE TFS/MS established safety procedures.
6. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Requirements:
1. Must have minimum 2 years of hands on truck/trailer experience or 4 years automotive mechanical experience.
2. Must meet minimum company tool requirements.
3. Safe driving record and valid driver's license.
4. Good organizational, time management and customer service skills.
5. Ability to work independently and be dependable.
6. Ability to work overtime.

Desired:
1.High school or equivalent education.
