Maintenance Technician

Principal Duties and Essential Job Functions:
Perform preventative and corrective procedures on various electrical and mechanical equipment including but not limited to conveyor belts, forklift trucks, yard trucks, label machines, and pallet jacks. Troubleshoot, repair and maintain mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic components of machines. Identify, procure and maintain inventory of spare parts. Record maintenance activities. Prioritize equipment maintenance requests. Identify, recommend and implement improvement to equipment. Perform general facility repairs including but not limited to building, grounds, lighting and plumbing. Maintain relationships with outside maintenance and service vendors. Supervise Container Repair Department. Perform other related duties as required and assigned.

Basic Qualifications:
Knowledge of forklift, HVAC, pneumatic tools, electrical and conveyor repair preferred. Two (2) years Maintenance experience. Ability to understand product and tool drawings. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Forklift experience.
