Mechanical Repair Technician

Growing Johnstown Defense contractor currently seeking motivated candidates with a keen attention to detail for a full time Mechanical Repair Technician position. Qualified candidates must possess proven ability to interpret complex drawings, diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical problems, in accordance with proper repair solutions. Candidate must be able to diagnose, repair and replace components as necessary. Some electronic knowledge is needed to perform mechanical repairs. Position may also require applicant to perform inspection and testing of components and systems as per documented procedures. A minimum of 2 years related experience, such as ASE Master/Senior Dealer automotive repair technician is a must. A Production background is ideal. Machine shop experience and/or completion of Vo-tech program are also desirable. High school diploma or GED required. Candidate must pass a drug test and background check. Position may require candidate to travel abroad for training. Interested candidates should respond with a detailed resume and 3 employment references.
