Metrology Technician

Management Recruiters of Plymouth Meeting has an excellent opportunity for a Metrology Technician. This position is located in Hatfield Pa.

 

 

Duties:

In this role the Metrology Technician performs a variety of flow and mechanical calibrations.

 

The tech will be involved in maintaining and calibrating all measuring standards throughout plant.  Provide quality testing/calibrations on Mass Flow devices.

 

Other duties include Assisting with the calibration schedules for volume meters and Mol Bloc devices and other flow measurement devices; along with maintaining necessary record of calibrations including pre and post calibration readings, tolerances, acceptability and approval. 

 

The candidate will prepare equipment for shipment to outside labs for calibration as required. 

 

Qualifications:
High School graduate. 
Good understanding of formulas
Basic Knowledge of Pressure Flow measuring
Able to read drawings and measuring instruments.
