AGS NAM Professional Services - Network Integration Engineer


Performs on-site Professional Services involved with the installation and configuration of APCs software and network solutions for APCs customers. Responsible for all on-site Integration activities, including, rack-mounting servers, APC accessories, UPSs, battery frames, and networking equipment. Responsible for APC software installation on all operating systems and SNMP platforms as well as network cable installation and management. Must be highly motivated and in tune with the goals and objectives of APC Global Services and the Network Integration Team Leader. Responsible for delivering the highest level of service possible for APCs largest customers and ensuring a high degree of satisfaction with the implementation and performance of APC solutions.


Special Skills Required:Must show a complete understanding of logical networks, the physical infrastructure and their interrelationship. A demonstrated knowledge of Single Phase and Three Phase power is required. Must be a HIGHLY effective communicator at all levels, including, phone, e-mail, verbal correspondence and customer facing skills. Must possess a basic understanding of the Data Center environment, UPS systems, HVAC, generators and how these systems interact with critical network loads. Must be completely proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio or CAD, e-mail systems and Web based applications. The successful candidate must show the ability to work independently and possess a HIGHLY motivated personality. Educational Requirements: The successful candidate will hold a BA/BS degree and at least 2 years experience in working with networks and software. The preferred candidate will hold at least one Professional IT Certification, including, MCSE, CCNA, CNE, Net+, A+, and Unix Certification....
