Under general supervision, self-performs and leads a crew of maintenance generalists and/or custodial employees in maintaining all offices and common areas for assigned Operations & Maintenance (O&M) contract sites in a safe, sanitary and orderly condition. Responsible for providing work direction, orientation, training and work review/inspection for assigned personnel.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES:

Self-performs and leads a crew which:


Provides work direction, orientation, training and work review/inspection for assigned personnel.

Performs a variety of general maintenance or custodial activities.? This may include grounds keeping, housekeeping, and facility repairs to building systems, electrical systems, small machines, and equipment.

Ensures facility and O&M equipment is maintained. Also ensures appropriate maintenance documentation is completed and filed.

Provides direction and works from drawings, job layouts or verbal instructions related to assigned tasks.

Operates a variety of tools and machines required by the operation.

Ensures appropriate levels of supplies and materials are ordered and stocked appropriately.

Provides audit reports of performance levels to management as requested.

Provides required administrative support for Site Manager as needed, such as time sheet review and manpower scheduling.? May backfill for the Site Manager as needed.

May be required to be on call 24/7 to provide telephone assistance as well as emergency response to the facility.

Performs and reviews all work and assures all personnel perform work in accordance with established safety procedures.

Oversees the proper usage of chemicals/compounds or machinery according to recommended manufacturer's instructions.

Ensures compliance to all city, state, and federal license and certification requirements.? Maintains and submits all records and documents to proper authorities.

Complies with all company policies and procedures and adheres to company standards.

Performs other duties as requested.

High School Graduate or equivalent experience.? Five or more years experience in performance of general maintenance work.? Demonstrated ability to lead and coordinate the activities of others.? Must be able to communicate effectively for scheduling, training, and customer and management interface.? Ability to work second or third shift, holidays, and weekends as required.? Must be a team player, committed to working in a quality environment.
