Overhead Crane & Hoist Service Technician

Mid-Atlantic Crane, located in beautiful Raleigh, NC has been in business for 25 years and is independently owned and operated. 

 

We are seeking experienced overhead crane service technicians.

*Candidate must have electrical and mechanical experience and have understanding of 3 phase motors.

 

* Candidate must not have fear of heights and must be able to work in the following environments:  Working with and around high voltage situations, tight spaces, hot and humid temperatures, loud environments, chemical and high pressure environments.

 

* Candidate must be available for overtime, on call some weekends and must be able to travel overnight in NC and surrounding states when needed. 

 

*Candidate must be willing to relocate to the Raleigh, NC area.

 

*Candidate must pass drug screening, criminal background checks and have excellent safety record.

 

*Candidate must have or be able to obtain valid NC drivers license.

 

*Candidate must be able to lift heavy objects.

 

Person we are looking for will be team oriented, professional and will have good communication skills both verbal and written.  Will also have excellent mechanical, electrical and trouble shooting skills.

 

Primary job will be to inspect, troubleshoot, repair, quote repairs, recommend equipment changes for future service needs, perform scheduled preventative maintenance and must be able to make clear and decisive decisions and have the ability to communicate in a professional, clear manner to both customer and office.  Position requires that individual has the knowledge and skills necessary to troubleshoot programs, controls and have ability to install various inverters, radio units and understand how they function.
