Job Purpose:  Provide PLC programming service to all departments of the MillComplete designs/analysis on capital and maintenance related projectsOptimize the production performance parameters (process efficiency, equipment availability, etc.)Report directly to the Electrical SupervisorPLC programming for Allen Bradley and Siemens PLCsPrepare control programs for new equipment installationsTroubleshooting assistance to solve control optimization issuesKey electrical resource for ESGLiaison with suppliers and confirm/comment on product technical informationProvide technical expertise to customers and other ESG members

 

 

Job Requirements: 5 to 10 years of experience in PLC programmingExperience with Allen Bradley PLCsExperience with Siemens PLCsExcellent organizational skillsGood communication and project management skillsExtensive computer knowledgeGood mechanical aptitudeKnowledge of electrical conceptsKnowledge of OSB industry or similar wood industryPerform other duties as assigned
