We have an exciting position available for an experienced Plant Maintenance Technician.

 

This is a skilled position that repairs and installs production/manufacturing equipment.  Inspects equipment for proper functional use and performs preventative maintenance duties per manufacturer?s specifications.  Must be able to diagnose equipment malfunctions and make repairs and/or adjustments as needed.  Also have a willingness to operate individually or within the constraints of a team environment. 

 
Repair all production equipment as needed
Upgrade areas with new equipment/technology.
Must be able to work with outside contractors on special projects
Must be at least 18 years of age
Knowledge of hydraulics
Knowledge of pneumatics
Knowledge of Robotics/Automation
Knowledge of mechanical moving parts (chains, bearings and rollers)
Experienced in parts organizing and ordering
Experienced in Preventative Maintenance Programs
Strong electrical background a definite plus
Must be able to read schematics and mechanical drawings
Formal technical training preferred
Must be able to lift/carry 50-85 lbs.
Must be able to push/pull up to 50 lbs.
Must be able to perform frequent standing, bending, twisting, crawling, kneeling, squatting, climbing, reaching and grasping

 

This job is a Plant Maintenance Technician position requiring  a minimum of 5 years maintenance experience (or formal training). Technical School or similar apprenticeship graduate preferred.  Experience with manufacturing automation is a must.
