Mechanics

Metro Waste Paper Recovery Inc., which operates recycling plants in the US and Canada, has immediate openings for Plant and Rolling Stock Mechanics at its facility located in Rochester.

Applicants for the position of Plant Mechanic must be self-starters with strong electrical and mechanical abilities. A sense of urgency relating to equipment repairs and preventative maintenance is a necessary requirement. Previous experience with balers, compactors, conveyors or related equipment would be a definite asset.

Applicants for the position of Rolling Stock Mechanic must be self-starters and have experience with the repair and maintenance of heavy truck and trailer, forklift, skid steer and/or loaders. Attention to detail, strong mechanical abilities and welding skills are further requirements.

The Company offers an attractive salary and benefits package that will be commensurate with experience. Successful applicants must provide their own basic tools.
