Manages and develops plumbing staff which includes disciplining of employees, scheduling employees, setting work priorities, conducting staff meetings, counseling, evaluating performance and directing work assignments to ensure effective production. Establishes and maintains operating policies and procedures. Interfaces with vendors, inspector?s home owners, and project managers, to identify service needs and maintain good customer relations. Evaluate workloads, review bid proposal, assist in providing estimates, and assist to resolve problems and closing sales.  Monitoring production and efficiency of employees and monitor quality control.  Assist the dispatch operations, review payroll records, timesheets to ensure technicians are paid properly.  Conduct job site inspections, assist in collecting past due accounts, oversee overall facility operation.  Other duties as assigned.

 

A high school diploma or GED (General Education Degree) equivalent is required. Related experience and/or advanced training or any equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted. Knowledge of local and national plumbing code required.  A valid driver?s license is required.  Must possess a working knowledge of general industry standards and strong supervisory, computer and mathematical skills.  Strong communications/human relations skills are also required.
