Production Maintenance Mechanic

POSITION TITLE:  Maintenance Mechanic

 

DS Waters of America, LP a premier leader in home and office delivery. Has an immediate opening in Phoenix, AZ for a Maintenance Mechanic.  The company is known for their great products such as Sparklett?s, Sierra Springs, Crystal Springs, Alhambra and a few more companies in the East. The company offers an extensive benefit package.

 

 RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform troubleshooting, repair work and preventative maintenance on all plant machinery, equipment and instrumentation.  Perform troubleshooting and repair work of plant mechanical, electrical and fluid handling systems to sustain plant operation at planned performance levels.  Maintain inventory of maintenance/quality control supplies.  Operate forklift to move equipment and machinery as needed.  Record machinery usage and equipment maintenance and purchases.  Install and modify production machinery and equipment.  Operate Company vehicle as needed to obtain parts.  This is not a complete description of the Maintenance I role.

 MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Able to perform maintenance duties safely and adhere to all internal and external safety guidelines.  Proficient in the use of hand, power, shop and diagnostic tools.  Basic welding skills.  Ability to read blueprints, electric, hydraulic and pneumatic schematics as well as ladder logic programs.  Ability to lift and move equipment weighing up to 100 pounds; climb ladders, stairs, crawl through manholes, work on roofs and in tanks.  Willingness to participate in outside study programs for personal development.  Knowledge of in-plant machinery maintenance.  Computer skills, including use of software to interface with PLC?s.  Able to work flexible hours including weekends as needed.  Skilled in electrical power/controls, mechanical and fluid handling systems.  Able to meet DS Waters of America Driver Qualification Policy requirements.  Able to acquire IBWA certification.

 

This is a full-time position,

 

 

HOURLY WAGE RANGE: $15.82  -  $23.70
