Residential Service Technician - Pasadena - CA

Currently, AIMCO seeks Service Technician to oversee a 41 unit affordable property located in Pasadena, CA. The Service Technician is responsible for assisting the Community Manager in all operations of the apartment community with the primary objectives of increasing the net operating income of the community, maintaining the physical asset, providing for a quality living environment for residents and establishing a positive, productive working relationship with the community staff. The Service Technician performs these duties personally for 90 units or less under direct supervision of a Service Manager. There are no supervisory responsibilities. Typically 0-2 years of experience in facilities maintenance

 

Qualifications:

Performs routine maintenance and repairs. Applies basic carpentry, plumbing, mechanical and electrical skills such as painting interior and exterior surfaces and furniture Installs, repairs and replaces door knobs, locks, faucets and other basic plumbing parts; wiring, installing and replacing light fixtures and electrical switches  Typically 0-2 years related experience required Must be able to lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
