SR PVD EQUIPMENT TECHNICIAN

Air Products and Chemicals, Inc. (NYSE:APD), a Fortune 500 manufacturer of industrial gases and chemicals, is seeking several experienced Senior PVD Equipment Technicians for its Gilbert, AZ facility.

Perform assembly of electrical and mechanical components from schematics, drawings, and work instructions. Must have experience in installation, start up and repair of a variety of PVD and CVD process equipment. Perform testing and troubleshooting of complex electrical and mechanical assembly. Proficient with schematics, drawings, and manuals. Ability to work shift schedules. Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude. Ability to use hand tools and electronics troubleshooting equipment. Experienced with PLCs. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Must have manual dexterity required to manuipulate small componenents, be able to lift 55 lbs, and wear supplied steel toe shoes. Experienced with desktop computer applications. Prior experience in and ISO 9001:2000 manufacturing environment a plus. Associates degree in Electronics required.
